The New South Wales Film Makers Group is a non-profit organisation. We are a member-based group that began due to a lack of work in the industry. The group was formed to create a platform for film and television businesses and contractors to work with Government and Film Agencies in addressing issues within the industry.

What You Get: The group was formed in June 06, and in that time there has been a part time employee in the office, thanks to industry sponsorship. Two submissions to Federal Government Reviews have been completed, explaining the plight of the industry and offering suggestions on how to increase production and employment. There have also been several meetings with other industry groups to discuss what can be done and to determine how we can contribute best. Our Website offers regularly updated news and our progress. The office is set up as a base for all our ongoing needs to run an effective Group.

News: We publish a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date with what is going on and try to put as much relevant information on the site as possible. Your input will be very much appreciated.
